This charming vacation house is steps away from an incredible beach right out your front door. Spend all your time lounging, swimming and snorkeling right on your own beach, or explore the island of San Salvador and the many other marvelous beaches and activities. The amazing beaches that ring the island are usually completely isolated, and you won’t see another person. You can also arrange to go bone fishing, reef fishing, scuba diving, and see the island by jet ski, bicycle, motorbike, or for a historical tour. Make sure you stand on the historical beach where Christopher Columbus first made land-fall in the new world! Use an amazing private chef who will cater gourmet meals in your house, or cook yourself in the full kitchen. Ride bikes around the deserted roads, visit the tiny town with grocery stores and a modest gift shop, or visit the fancy Club Med for an evening out. Whatever you choose, San Salvador offers great privacy on deserted beaches, or friendly, welcoming island locals in the tiny shops and restaurants.

The Casaurina house in San Sal offers all it promises, and is an experience unlike any other. The home has been in excellent condition each time we have frequented. The overall cleanliness and maintenance is superior to many vacation homes we have rented in both the Caribbean and Bahamas. All of the appliances are in working order, and can accommodate for the number of guests. It is obvious that both the owners and caretakers take pride in their renters positive experiences. The beautiful clear blue waters and uncrowded beaches, that are a just a few steps off the back porch, are enticing and offer hours of enjoyment and relaxation. The house is also just a short walk from Grato Beach, which has some exciting snorkeling, or a scenic drive into Cockburn Town. The residence is perfectly located for a bike ride (bikes are provided with the home) to several different beaches, monuments, and even into town. Also, the location offers the opportunity to venture into town at night to experience the native nightlife with just a short drive, as well as the privacy to lay in the hammock for a quiet evening and watch the gorgeous sunset while listening to the calming waves. While the home is pleasantly secluded, we always feel as safe as we are in our own home. The natives of San Sal are very welcoming and friendly. A stay at the Casaurina house is paradisiacal and will leave you more than satisfied and refreshed, and longing for a return trip.

There are 6 mountain bikes in the garage for the use of the guests. The owners have a private boat in the garage which is NOT allowed to be used. Boating and fishing tours are available from locals on the island.

Cancellation Policy
100% refund of all fees paid if cancellation is made at least 90 days prior to reservation. No other refunds. All refunds will be mailed as a check payment.
